MEASURE, DO NOT GUESS

Manufacturer measurement diagrams for every cut the house produces, plus how to read them on a phone in a garage.

How to measure

Lay a garment you already wear flat. Measure a — chest, edge to edge under the arms — and b — length, from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. Compare those two numbers to the diagram for your cut below.

Fit notes

Standard fit pieces sit close to the body. Heavy oversized pieces are cut deliberately wide through the chest and shoulder. Size up for hoodies worn over riding layers; size down for a closer T-shirt fit.
