Original Slowboys began as a small circle of riders who cared more about the people beside them than the speed beneath them. It grew into a worldwide family without ever changing what it stands for.
The name came before the plan. “Slowboys” was a refusal — a rejection of the idea that riding is only about how quickly you can arrive. The people who rode under that name wanted the opposite: presence, craft, patience and each other’s company.
WHY SO FAST is not a joke on a banner. It is a question the fraternity asks of everything — the ride, the build, the purchase, the way people treat one another. Slowing down is how the family notices things worth keeping.
What started in London travelled. Riders in other cities carried the mark, built chapters, and were held to the same standard as the people who started it. That is the only reason the family still holds together: the standard never moved.
Today the house has two doors. One is open to anyone who respects the mark. The other is earned. Both are treated with the same seriousness.
Founding dates, named founders and specific milestone events are held for verification with the Slowboys Team before publication. We would rather publish less than publish history we cannot evidence.
